Austin Middle School Application Process

• Who: 
  • Current 4th graders applying to Austin Middle School for the 2020-21 school year
  • Current middle school students wanting to switch to Austin MS in the 2020-21 school year
• When: 
  • Parents fill out a PHASE 1 online application between January 13 - February 14, 2020.
  • The link, www.gisdschoolsofchoice.org, will accept applications beginning January 13th at 8:00 am and will close February 14th at 4:00 p.m. 
• Notification: Phase 1 school assignments will be mailed no later than February 28, 2020

*Note: If you miss the February 14, 2020 deadline to apply to Austin Middle School online, paper applications will be accepted at the District Office located at 3904 Ave T, Galveston, Tx 77550 beginning in May 2020. For more information, call 409-766-5100.

Austin School Tour Dates:

• 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 
• 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020 
• 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020
