  • School Performance Frame Work Report

The School Performance Frame Work Report communicates to parents and community members how well our schools are doing and identifies schools that need additional support from district-level leadership. The SPF focuses the district’s decision-making processes around school support and intervention. Parents can also use the SPF to assist them in their decisions around school choice. We believe this information will help us succeed in meeting our mission of educating, engaging, and empowering EACH student for a life of excellence.

  • 18-year-old lives an extraordinary life with epilepsy

Diagnosed at age 12, the now-18-year-old is living with intractable, drug-resistant epilepsy. He’s a crusader for epilepsy awareness. And he was instrumental in the passage of HB 684, also known as Sam’s Law, passed in this year’s session of the Texas Legislature. The law, now in effect, requires all Texas public school personnel whose duties include regular contact with students to be trained in seizure recognition and seizure first aid.
