• Social Emotional Learning Galveston ISD

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is a process through which children and adults develop the fundamental skills for life effectiveness. We need SEL skills for ourselves, our relationships, and our work. Our SEL team provides a variety of tools for both the parents and educators to help strengthen children's ability to empathize and understand one another.
We currently have 3 SEL specialist assigned to Collegiate, AIM/DAEP and Ball High led by our SEL Coodinator Cherie Spencer.
