Have you restarted your PC today? (When in doubt, reboot)
Have you verified all cables are connected securely to PC/Laptop/Chromebook as well as Power Strip/Surge Protector?
If you have a Network Switch, have you already reset it (unplugged & reconnected) and checked the number of lights flashing?
