I have been in the education field for many years working only in G.I.S.D. I have taught pre-first, first, and third grades. I started teaching at San Jacinto Elementary School, then transferred to Scott Elementary the first year it opened. I have been teaching at Parker Elementary in the Special Education Department for 17 years. I pull out small groups to teach reading, language arts, and math along with helping out in the classrooms.

I have been married for 31 years and have two wonderful daughters. My daughters were fortunate to attend Parker Elementary throughout their entire elementary school years.

I absolutely love what I do and try to bring out the best in every child.
