My name is Debra Owens, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Collegiate Academy at Weis. I enjoy working with middle school students, as I believe these years to be critical in guiding them towards personal and academic success in their futures. This is an important and critical time of transition-moving from the elementary school experience and preparing for the bigger challenges that await them in high school and beyond. What happens during these few short years will have a lasting impact on their development and growth. Together we will celebrate accomplishments, overcome obstacles, and achieve the goal of ensuring all students are high-school ready.
Collegiate Academy at Weis has a legacy of high expectations, rigor, and student engagement. It is a privilege to be part of a school community where teachers and staff cultivate an environment where students achieve and believe in themselves and their school. We are excited and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children as we provide the individualized support they need to succeed.
Parents play a vital role in the academic success of every student. When parents and schools work together students excel. I am thrilled to be a part of a school community where family members are an integral, visible, and actively engaged component of student success. Therefore, one of our goals is to build an even stronger academic community by working with you, our most important partners, to ensure a quality education for every student! Your involvement, feedback, and support will be critical to my leadership, the teaching and learning environment, and above all to the success of your children in our school.
If you would like to contact me, please do not hesitate to email me at email@example.com or by calling me at 409 761-6100. I am looking forward to working with all Collegiate Academy parents and students as we work toward a successful school year.
