Library Information and Resources

Each campus in Galveston ISD operates its own library, offering a collection of books tailored to the needs and interests of its student population. Campuses conduct annual inventories to ensure that online catalogs remain accurate, to remove damaged materials, and to identify any books that may be missing.

All students have access to their library account through ClassLink, where they can review the campus catalog, check the availability of books, and explore additional titles within a collection or those similar to books they have previously read.

Parents may access their child’s account by logging in through ClassLink using the student’s credentials or by following the instructions to login to their Follett parent access: CLICK HERE

Galveston ISD Library Book Review Process

In accordance with Texas House Bill 900 and Senate Bill 13, Galveston ISD has established a formal review process that allows any book currently available to students in our schools to be evaluated and, if necessary, removed from a campus library or prohibited from being available in any Galveston ISD school. This process includes a rigorous review to ensure compliance with all state requirements.

If you would like to block your child from checking out a specific book or list of books, please review the Parent Access to Follett instructions.

If you believe there is a book that should be reviewed for all students and campuses, please click the link below to access the instructions for submitting a review request.
