New Library Book Purchase Approval

In compliance with Texas Senate Bill 13, Galveston ISD will conduct a public review of all proposed library book purchases.

The public will have 30 days to review each proposed list after it is posted and to submit questions, concerns, or recommendations. Once the public review period concludes, all feedback will be evaluated alongside the proposed purchase list.

A final recommended list of titles will then be submitted to the Galveston ISD Board of Trustees for approval prior to any purchase being made.

Below you will find individual lists along with the dates they were posted for review. The opportunity to submit comments on these lists will remain open for 30 days, after which Galveston ISD will review all public feedback before submitting the results to the School Board for approval.
