Oppe Elementary and Artist Boat hosted a ribbon-cutting on Oct. 21 to celebrate the new educational outdoor mural made from recycled bottle caps collected by students. The mural, which was designed and built by Artist Boat’s Eco-Art Residency Program, is titled “Keep Our Seas Plastic Free” and fits into Oppe’s theme of coastal studies.
