Recent Ball High School graduate Ronaldo Salazar is heading to the University of Texas at Austin in the fall where he received a full-ride scholarship through The Terry Foundation - a Houston-based private scholarship provider founded to help outstanding high school graduates help themselves through access to quality education at 13 Texas public universities.

Ronaldo will attend as a first-generation college student studying electrical and computer engineering. He credits his Ball High teachers with inspiring him to pursue greater opportunities, especially Dr. Hart, his dual credit English teacher. Congratulations, Ronaldo. Your GISD family is proud of you!
