GALVESTON, Texas – Jan. 24, 2024 -  

GISD hosted its 3rd District Science Fair at Austin Campus Thursday, January 18. 

For the first time, Elementary students participated and presented outstanding projects that embodied the theme: “Finding Solutions for Local and Global Issues.” 

 Campuses represented were Rosenberg Elementary, Crenshaw Elementary and Middle School, Weis Middle School, Austin Middle School, Central Middle School, and AIM College and Career Prep. A big thank you goes to Superintendent Dr. Neighbors who gave thoughtful and inspiring opening remarks.  Thanks to the judges, Central Administration, principals, teachers, parents, and students who joined together to make the fair a memorable event.
