GALVESTON, Texas - May 7, 2020 - Administrators at Ball High School in Galveston ISD have a month long showcase planned in May to honor the school’s seniors. This week, a giant banner with the names of each senior was displayed at the school for photo ops. Next week, a parade is to take place on Seawall Boulevard on Wednesday, May 13 at 2 p.m. Additional surprises are planned in the weeks to come and culminating with a potential outdoor graduation ceremony in June.

The seniors and their families will be spectators for the parade and are asked to wear caps and gowns and purple attire to show support of the Ball High School graduates. The parade vehicles will be occupied by Ball High School and Galveston ISD staff who will congratulate the students along the route. “We want to line the seawall in a sea of purple. It will be an awesome sight and something special that these seniors will remember about their final year at Ball High,” says Ball High School Principal Joseph Pillar.
