PLI-Powerful Learning Innovator

Powerful Learning Innovators (PLI) work to design personalized field trip experiences with different partner institutions on Galveston Island, blending cross curricular classroom content and real world experiences.

Through our work we hope to help students develop their literacy and critical thinking skills while introducing students to the rich cultural resources of our community.

We do this two ways: one, all experiences are written by local educators and two, every experience has a holistic approach from pre-trip instruction to post-trip wrap up. Additionally, we provide professional development opportunities for our teachers to ensure that all Galveston students experience quality instruction.
