DAEP
DRESS CODE
All students are expected to comply with the dress code daily. If a student does not comply the parent will be contacted to come and pick up their student.
- Shirts – White, short sleeve or long sleeve, Polo style shirts. Shirts shall be tucked into the pants without any “blousing.” Only white undershirts may be worn.
- Pants – Pants will be Khaki only. Sweat pants, joggers, carpenter/cargo pants are not allowed. Baggy, or oversized pants; denim material; split seams; split cuffs; frayed pants are not allowed.
- Shoes – Shoes will be black with black laces/white with white laces or fastners and they must cover the entire foot. Sandals or open toed shoes or slippers are not allowed. No other colors will be allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Socks – Only solid white socks may be worn.
TRANSPORTATION
- A student placed in a DAEP shall not be provided transportation unless he or she is a student with a disability who is entitled to transportation in accordance with the student’s indivdualized education program (IEP) or Section 504.
ORIENTATION IN-PERSON
- It is mandatory that a parent or guardian attend orientation with their child. Orientations will be scheduled for Monday or Wednesday starting at 4:00 p.m.
