👤 A Message from Dr. Hernandez

My name is Dr. Vivian Hernandez, Family and Community Engagement Specialist for Galveston ISD. I hold a Bachelors in Humanities, a Masters in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Ethical Leadership from University of St. Thomas.

I previously served as College Liaison at Ball High School and helped design the Tutor-a-Tor mentoring program for socio-economically disadvantaged students at risk of not passing state tests or achieving career/college readiness.

As FACE Specialist, I look forward to building partnerships that address the needs of the "Whole Child" — educating, engaging, and empowering EACH student for a life of Excellence. Please contact my office with any questions, concerns, or interests.

— Dr. Vivian Hernandez, Ed.D.
