GISD Website Downtime Scheduled

We're launching a brand-new website! (Brief downtime scheduled)

Dear GISD Staff & Families,
We are excited to share that we are launching a brand-new website designed to make it much easier for you to find school calendars, news, and resources!
To get the new site up and running, we have to perform some quick behind-the-scenes updates. During this transition, our website will be temporarily offline today.
  • When: July 17, 2026 starting at 9:00 a.m.
  • How long: We expect the site to be unavailable for about 1 to 3 hours.
  • What this means for you: If you try to visit our website during this time, it won't load. Don't worry—this is normal, and we are just working under the hood!
